Recent advancements in the chemistry of anaerobic threadlockers haveresulted in the new Loctite® 243™ Medium Strength Blue Threadlocker and the new Loctite® 263™ High Strength Red Threadlocker, which provide:

• Upgraded temperature resistance to 360°F (182°C)
• Oil tolerant curing on as-received fasteners without cleaning
• Cures without primer on steel, stainless steel and most plated fasteners

THREADLOCKERS SECURE THREADED ASSEMBLIES
Threadlockers:

Completely fill the voids between interfacing threads, which prevents side-to-side movement and ultimately prevents loosening.
Act as lubricants during fastener tightening. This lubrication allows applied torque to be converted into high clamp load instead of dissipating as friction or heat.
Provide a reliable seal, preventing leaks, galling and corrosion that can seize threads and prevent disassembly.
